You can enjoy a range of superb forest walks starting out from Domaine du Petit Sonnaillier.Intro
Enthusiastic, friendly and deeply attached to their terroir, the Bouches-du-Rhône's wine growers simply love welcoming visitors and sharing their passion with them!Description
Our 3 selected wine growers were chosen for their excellent welcome, the quality of their wines and the diversity and variety of their services.Whether you are an amateur wine lover or a connoisseur, this break is a genuine ode to the senses! Visit to the Domaine du Petit Sonnaillier vineyard and wine tasting session. The vines are grown at an altitude of between 250 and 290 metres under magnificent blue skies, and bordered by deep green forests, exhaling scents of pine, lavender, thyme, and rosemary...The next day, you will head off to the village of Vernègues, where you will be invited to savour some local vintages at the history-packed Domaine de Château Bas, built on the site of a Gallo-Roman town whose remains can still be admired today. This vineyard prides in proving that cutting edge technology can be used to produce particularly healthy and characteristic wines. We also suggest a visit to Château Romanin in the Alpilles area, near Les Baux-de-Provence. Produced on 130 acres of land using biodynamic techniques, the Château's organic wines are grown without the use of chemical fertilisers and according to natural cycles. Dug into a rock, the wine cellar resembles a Gothic cathedral and is a marvellous venue for wine appreciation. The vineyard is also home to a walking itinerary which you can explore at will.We love
The diversity of the wine-making methods employed by each vineyard and the warm welcome offered by the B&B owner.
